Gabriel joined the company in 1999 to expand the company's ambit of operations into the region, particularly into Malaysia. His previous experience included helping local start-ups regionalise, with a focus on trends that affect the business environment in neighbouring countries.
Gabriel's forte lies in two key areas:
- credible experience in regional business processes. Having helped local businesses develop a footing abroad, Gabriel has established networks across Southeast Asia
- experience in stakeholder management and corporate strategy consultancy. His ability to rapidly grasp core issues across industries and bring clarity to clients' requirements has been one of his main strengths.
Heading the company's northward expansion, Gabriel was relocated to Kuala Lumpur to develop the Malaysian arm of the company. While there, he facilitated corporate strategy and crisis consultancy/training for Malaysian corporations. Gabriel also worked on developing and managing strategic partners which the company has worked with successfully to service clients in Malaysia.
Gabriel took a break from work for a year to study. He attained a Master of Science in International History and Politics from the London School of Economics. Rejoining the company in late 2006, Gabriel now handles local business expansion, strategic consultancy and special projects.
